Starting to now worry the single AAL won't be enough and maybe I should go 2 AALs, 3 leaf AALs or AAL + lift shackle. Would rather only take my leafs apart once...

Because I already bought/have the Dakars haha...we'll see how they behave with the AAL(s) and go from there.

Both? Haha. Not that you need one for the other but they're both fun to have...in their respective ways. One is certainly cheaper...

I'd overestimate more on the SC stuff, really costs a fuckload to get everything working right, but I understand what you're after

Urd sc kit with 7th injector kit is like 3500$ Plus whar ever i might need so i guess 5k to get it on and running then invest more over time to perfect it. Or 5k and i can have good suspension that will probably be upgraded over time. Either way both will get done at one point just idk which i want to do first yet lol. But its ok because i plan to keep the truck for ever. Has more sentimental value to me then i cab put a price on

You made me try to calculate what I have into my truck, doesn't bode well for my whole financially responsible pitch... 2K truck, 2.5-3k in suspension, 3.5k in SC and supporting mods, 3ish into camping stuff, not to mention various armor pieces, wheels and tires..... ugh now I remember why I toss receipts out. I never want to actually add it all up. Then there's the cruiser....

The single should be enough, I used Box Rockets old tacoma as a guide for mine and he was running the Dakars w/aal and had a dual swing out, bed rack/rtt or shell on plus some other stuff and his never seemed to sag too much.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/box-rocket-2003-trd-doublecab.117265/page-8#post-2978032

I have the D6XL sitting in my back room waiting for the RTT to go back on my truck, too hot now to camp out here so I won't bother with them yet.

I love my cruiser, best thing I've ever done to the Tacoma haha. Half the mods I do to the Taco would take much longer without it. LX450 is just as cool, minus the 95-97 dashboard and one sliding rear window haha, oh and the smaller 95-97 transmission. Still awesome though, plus three lockers is always neat. I will say that the nicest cruisers go for more than 10k (again not boding well for my financially responsible pitch), but you can get a damn decent one for wheeling for much less. You pay out the ass for paint condition, interior condition, and running gear maintenance. But there are plenty out there with good drivetrains that would make a great wheeler. Long term goal for mine is putting in a 3UR-FE 5.7L Tundra motor in it.

I just was a crusior with locking diffs and in decent condition. Because it will become my camping truck so i know it will beat up. Main thing i dont like about the lx450 is the back window doesn’t slide, i want the sliding window for my dog lol. But i do line the idea of riding a trail in Japanese comfert and luxury lol. I really Just want something where i can keep the dog inside in comfort, back of a ext cab tacoma isn’t that comfy lol. I also want a 1st gen 4 runner but a early modle to make a Rock crawler. Shit i just want damn near every cool tacoma ever made, i have a build plan for all of them lol.
