Its a great off-road park. The next events are listed below:


08-10 June

22-24 June 06-08 July 13-15 July 27-29 July 17-19 August The park closes from September through April every year.

The majority of participants are Jeep owners, but the park is not exclusive to Jeeps. We've had everything from stock LR4s to first generation Broncos. The park is stock 4x4 friendly, with categories divided up for driver and vehicle experience/preference/capability. There is even a 101 course that is designed to introduce new wheelers and/or provide a refresher of off-road concepts if someone has not wheeled in a while.

The park owner, Jon, has always been interested in having clubs join up at events and has opened the park to clubs during non-Chaos scheduled events. We've had Hummer groups to Land Rover clubs spend a weekend with the Chaos trail guides wheeling as if it were a normally scheduled event.

There is also Twin Mountain Off-road Park, located in Moorefield, WV. Although a smaller park, it is equally as fun and the hosts are great people. Link to Twin Mountain below:

Morning! @ilubtimmyhos I have your skid waiting for you I was going to try and meet up with @HCJ next week sometime to pass it off.

 

Thank you for the info you sexy man beast. I was looking through the Chaos pictures and it doesn't look too stock friendly. Is that safe to say? Also what's up with your rig? I haven't seen it in the parking lot lately.

Getting better with each night. Last 3 months have been a rollercoaster, then I left for a bit and it got worst, then got better, last couple nights though we have had some 6hr stretches.

 

that's tough man. Allison does shit like that.... has nights where she sleeps well and others where she hardly sleeps

 

Yep, it definitely adds some much un-wanted stress.

 

You're most welcome, my jam to my jelly roll. There are stock friendly trails that will require a spotter and a well chosen line. Before each group goes up the hill to begin, the trail guides assigned to the groups will assess the vehicles and thoroughly discuss the planned trails with their owners. Trail guides should consider the trail options based on the vehicle that is least capable in that group. Chaos has sporadic "challenging spots" strewn about the trails, and optional obstacles. And we never push a driver to do something that the driver does not feel comfortable doing. The goal is to safely have a good time with the trails and to avoid damage to vehicles.

As for my Xterra, she's out for the season until I install my 3" body lift, improve/upgrade my wiring situation, and some other mods/improvements. And the new house mod happens in June, with a three car garage. Mod/Wrench days!
