Thank you for the pics. Looks to me like you trim that tab off and that will fix the issue. I believe the tab guided the leaf under.
I have seen this happen with Dakars and the stock hanger on @alex.busta 's truck, had to cut the stock hanger to get the leaf unstuck.
It looks to me that OME designed this pack for the Hilux first and just carried the design to the tacoma, I think that matters because the shackles are opposite, there would be no issues on the Hilux.

Might need to update this if Dakar bros need to trim the tab

Anyone here with NO issues? Can we get some clarification on what is going on OP? I have mine sitting here already to install but now that is on hold depending on the outcome here. Possible return or version 2?

I'm not having issues but I don't have a shock relocation. The issue is with people running longer shaft shocks and the shackle hitting the hanger when its extending. If you dont plan on running a shock relocate just install it. If you do, trim your tab down.

Not a shock relocate because @ETXTacoma doesn't have a relocate, just 12" travel shocks in the stock location.

It's not the shackle hitting, it's the 2nd leaf on the Dakar pack, Dakar packs are built different than other Tacoma packs.

Yea, I do not have shock relocate, all I have is 12" travel shocks in the stock location and Dakar springs with the stock shackle. Possibly going to a different shackle may fix the issue, just not sure?

Guys, I have a family issue of the worst kind going on now for past 2 weeks. My stepdad was last seen April 29th, and from evidence we have, he is surely dead. The evidence all points to my youngest brother as his murderer, who was arrested and is in jail on weapons possesion. So my stepdad was evidently murdered by my brother. It's been a hard 2 weeks, stress headaches, chest pain, exhaustion and not much Archive work getting done.

Here's how you can show your support:
    1) Please patient waiting for kits
    2) Please don't make a bigger deal than it needs to be over the hanger tab interference with leaf. The tab can be trimmed off to address issue.

    Sincerely,
    Eric

    Pardon my french...

    But fuck man.

Sorry to hear that, that tab now feels like a drop in the bucket. I am going to trim mine down and call it good I think.

You have been overly helpful Eric with everything that you have done since we first spoke about the Hammer Hangers, keep that head up man.

Agreed its the tab. Im running 12" Kings with a BAMF relocate and All Pro Expos. Zero contact issues. Excellent product but from time to time these issues arise with DIY / aftermarket parts. Fabrication on top of already fabricated parts is necessary some / most of the time.

Eric...I hope you find the strength you need to get through this point in your life.

Chin up and reach out to ANYONE if you need to

It's been a rough 3 weeks, but my stepfather's body was found this weekend by law enforcement. My family came together as a team and joined in the search for him. It was cooperation with each other in our family, and cooperation with the authorities and their massive search effort that recovered him. It was humbling to have so many officers involved in the search for my family member.

Some weight has been lifted off, and I will be getting back up to speed. I really appreciate the patience and the room you gave me.

    Thanks,
    Eric

Getting stuff together for this weekend. I have the older #2247 bushings from deaver so had you add a couple spacers. Came with 4 total. If i add #1 1/8” spacer on shackle/hanger spring eye where do the other two go?

Ok that’s what i was thinking but seems weird that ive been running them without issues from deaver. Just curious as to why “one per spring eye” if ive been running then from deaver with no issues. I thought they went at shackle/ hanger connection at first @ARCHIVE
