Duncan was only good because of the David R!!! Who is one I also forgot about!! Best center oh his era!!

 

I hope your kidding, the Admiral was the man, but the only reason he won 2 titles was because of Duncan. In 99 David still had some game bit in 03 David came off the bench down the stretch. Don't forget Tim won two more titles without David, along with 2 MVP's

agreed 100%.

i guess its easy to forget lebron made it to the finals in 07 when the spurs swept them. granted he played awful against the celtics this year, the talent he had on his team doesnt fit together well but i wouldnt go to say he cant bring in in the post season. big names on a team dont mean anything unless they compliment eachother well (Shaq & Suns was a fail)

kobe cant win any rings by himself, he needed gasol last year and didnt get any before that since shaq was there 7 before that.

i think Lebron is the best player in the game today.....but he needs better players around him if he wants to win a title.

Most likely Kobe, but kevin garnett is often over looked.

Among present players:

1. Kobe. possesses all skills + titles + Jordanesque killer instinct.

2. Lebron has made some big shots, some game winners, but not in the crucial moments. He lacks the killer instinct/ability/uncanny way of making something from nothing and changing a series.

3. Durant is the real future, along with D. Wade if he stays healthy. Durant will be unstoppable by late next year (how do you guard Kobe + 3 inches + 7-10 inches of wingspan?).

4. DWade only needs a fresh team and fresh start.
