    That payment is super low for a 3 year loan. It would had to have been a $25k or better down payment depending on the taxes. My guess is there was some help there. My wife and I graduated with little school debt, but it was dang hard. And there was no way we could have had a 25k surplus to toss on a vehicle.

    Mine was higher...$760/month over 4 years. They wouldn't come off the interest rate on anything shorter than that. Higher payments and shorter term = less interest paid. Payment amount varies a lot though. One could have a low payment on a TRD OR if they made a steep down payment or stretched the loan out over many years.
