No, just one really big battery. And no it won’t drain the battery overnight. Plus there’s a built in battery monitor so if it drops below a preset voltage, the fridge will automatically shut off.
I was thinking the same thing!

I tested my Optima Yellow Top battery vs. my ARB 50 Qt Fridge. Took three days before the ARB low voltage cut-off switched on and stopped pulling battery juice. That's pretty good run-time.

The ARB low-voltage circuitry tested perfectly.

I wasn't in the mood to argue with him.

Just told him I would make three trips to HD instead of one trip for my 3 measly sheets of plywood. LOL

That’d be cool! If not, I was going to try and plan a rausch trip early July that you could join.

    This inspired me.
Last several wheeling trips, my chainsaw was put to use several times. Maybe it's time to make it more accessible.
Here's what I was thinking. No clue how to secure it yet.

What about a giant quick fist? You could make a bracket that bolts to the propane tank and holds a giant quick fist. Then just secure it right under the handle.

edit: and you could weld a base that fits perfectly in the jerry can holder, and has a spot for the bottom of the propane tank to rest, as well as the bottom of the chain saw. That coupled with a quick fist or lashing strap and you'd be set

Looks to be about the size of a fire extinguisher and I’m pretty sure hey make them for that.

Yep exactly! I edited my last post to expand upon the idea.

Some good ideas guys. Keep ‘em coming.

    Main objectives:

Propane tank will be immovable and secured with a SS T-clamp.

Chainsaw needs to be easily accessible: grab and go and return back to mount as quickly as possible. Quik Fist or Fire extinguisher quick release are things to consider.

I like the idea of a shared base plate inside the jerry can holder.

Another, similar option is to build a base but have it come up kinda high. That way the base will do most of the holding. Then up top you can use a heavy duty bungee cord at a 45 degree angle to both hold it down as well as pull it backwards. Seems like it'd be secure in my mind.

Whoa. That looks very secure and very doable.
