Definitely serious. I can make a $20 bill last 6 months in my wallet. Card for everything including parking meters. My dad is old school, he pays for gas with cash still. It's such a pain in my opinion.

I could too, but sometimes if I am in a sketch area I don't want to run my card. Skimming happens all the time and I like to have the option.

    Vehicle:
    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
Installed a front and rear hidden 12v 1-gauge supply cable for my hitch mounted winch. It can be switched to on or off with a Blue Seas 600/900 amp HD switch. I can also plug in other 12v accessories to them in either the front or rear of the truck, including jumper cables, another battery, a jumper car, etc.

Underside front 12v winch plug. (Even though it looks like its in a bad spot, the plug is recessed behind and very well protected by the front hitch bar and will not rub on stuff.)

Part II will be a second battery soon.

What is this coin you refer to. Is it some new type of debit thingy. Seriously I load up my dressers with coins then put them in a jar and give them to my grandkid. That is like 1970's stuff.

Tips at driver thru coffee joints, car washes, drink machines, newspaper kiosks, etc.

Coins will slowly accumulate....might as well have a spot to stow them away until needed.

Vending machines I run into charge more for card use....like ten cents more for a 20oz bottle of water or Diet Dew. I'd rather not pay that premium.

Card security is also a concern....no such fears with cash & coin.

Not everyone is all about the card use for everything.

A relaxing tradition.....I enjoy reading the Sunday paper with my coffee and relax and catch up on local happenings.

The paper gets used later in my charcoal chimney starters for when I grill.

I used to read the paper. I used to have a black and white TV. I used to carry change. I used to wear a thing on my wrist to tell time-a watch. I even had paper routes. Remember those. I remember the last time I ordered 500 checks. That was probably 4 years ago. I still have 490 left. Every once in a while I grab some cash. 3 months later I find the same $300 in my wallet. I use my card for everything. Every day I spend $1.06 for a 7-11 drink on my debit card. Pay every bill online. I use 2 checks a year. To pay for haircuts. I used to get the newspaper and read it online. Then every week 6 unopened newspapers went in the trash. That opened my eyes. I do put cash in birthday cards unless I throw in a store gift card. Guess I am a freak of modern technology.

Must be a generational thing. We use our card for literally everything. The points make up for any $.10 surcharge I might pay. The only time I had change in my pocket in the last 5 years, a quarter accidentally went through the washing machine resulting in a $100 repair guy call. I haven't carried any since.

Must be, but I like a bit of old to go with all this new. It's also why I wear a mechanical watch instead of an apple watch.

The T100 was designed to compete with the Ford Ranger and Dodge Dakota. (midsize trucks) That’s my input on this future debate.

Not a pretty picture, but my white DCLB hauled an old school Snapper Comet riding mower tonight. Price was free...so i'm feeling good.

    Forrest Gump Edition too!
