I cut the whole bump looking thing right off ! In front of the tire . Started small and wound up taking the whole thing

 

You can’t see what is in bottom pic unless your laying on the ground . Kind of sloppy cut but I am a bit visually handicapped

 

Got my long tube urd headers! Now to find someone to install them. Any takers

Yes it does. Shorties are what you will want.

 

Just delete the cats they are useless power robbers anyways.

 

Nice looking trailer! I have been tinkering with the idea myself. Would be nice to not have to rent one anymore.

 

The last I read, I believe it was @Kyitty said when he installed the full tube headers and deleted the cats it was throwing codes

 

He probably ignored the sensors that are on the cat pipe.

I have ovtune to clear them permanently if not I'll buy the o2 simulator. Problem solved.

 

Yeah, it looks nice. Not happy with build quality. Crappy welds, some pieces not welded at all. Missing LOTS of the high end undercoating they boast about. About a foot total of missing sealant. Water intrusion, and poorly installed screws. Im going to take it to the bare structure, fix and rebuild it better.
Pulls nice though.
Its going to be an travel trailer eventually.

 

Installed these bad boys yesterday. Had to splice some wires since my 06 doesn't have DRL.

 

Yes my 2015 head unit does it ALL OF THE FREAKING TIME

but I'm sitting at 60k miles so way out of warranty. I heard it's a frequent issue with them

 

For as time consuming as it was, the pictures aren't as gratifying

So without doing a search, do these headers help with a dual exhaust set up? Something I want to do when my stock muffler goes.
