Showed up today.


Stupid me didn’t realize I need a separate part for the locker solenoids.

 

You mean a manifold? You didn’t need one to run your lockers on the single arb?

 

The ckma comes with one already attached to it, it seems like the dual is the only one where you need to buy it seperate.

Though Craig it makes me think, I wonder if you can take the one off your old one? Though you would need to still get a bsp steel braided line and make your own mounts and shit.

 

No time for all that.

Got up at a decent hour this morning and shipped out the rest of the batch of grills. Then, since I was expecting rain I threw the bike on the truck and hit Pennypack trail for about 11 miles.
The rain held off so I took the time to get the tent & fairing mounted.


Since I was already a ball of filth & sweat I decided to throw the skids back on too.


Got all but the t-case skid back on. It was quite nice with the new frame.

Now sitting in my favorite Spot with a Blonde Belacoso and a raspberry lemonade.


Successful Saturday.

 

How was the show? I wish i could have gotten up there. The house search today took all day.

Craig, check out my build thread I have a photo of my ARB dual mounted with the Slee Offroad mount which locates it under the hood up by the washer reservoir.

 

I'm happy with mine, but it's definitely a two man job to get it up there.

 

but that mount is $130..

I made my own mount.

 

My 06' has the ABS module in the corner so that was not an option. The Slee mount was the way to go for me, it comes with a nice stainless leader and is already powder coated too so it's worth every penny. I've put a lot of thought into this in the past and my time outside of work is worth $100 an hour minimum and it clearly would have taken up more than an hour of my beach and playing with the dog time to DIY it

 

That’s a nice concept but I don’t want to mount it under the hood.
