    If I go with the pulley boys 2.8” pulley with kit, do I have to worry about the spacing/fitment issue? Last I read, a 2.8 doesn’t require a snout trim

    Just trim it.
    The 2.8 would probably fit. But, you'll want more boost soon enough. Seems odd to use the PulleyBoys setup if the plan wasn't to eventually go smaller tho. I'd suggest just going with one of Gadget's 2.8987654684621 pulleys if that's all the oomph you're ever gonna want.

    Trim it and quick change gets my vote. Its leaves your options open if you ever change your mind.
