So I have the thought process that I’d rather have more capability than not enough !
I like the 4:88’s in a lot of ways . But when I did the rehear I also locked the front of the Tacoma and front and rear on the two Jeeps .
I’ve had quite a few times where I have been happy I had them, and a lot more times where I did not necessarily need them.
My moto ...better safe than sorry !
    But that moto costs $$$$$

Now that these are available in 16”, they’ve made it to the top of my “next tire” list. 80k miles on 2 sets of Dynapros. Hope the RGs are as long-lived.

Absolutely LOVING my Ridge Grapplers. 35/12.5/18 and I have 10k miles on them as of this week...in 7 months. I'm barely into the first small step down on the central lugs. If this trend keeps up then I see these tires lasting well past 50-60k miles.

Since my 9" rim will make the tires look smaller, wondering if I could go with a 295/70/17? anyone have this combo?

They’re actually 33.26 tires. Check out the comparison to a 285/75/17

Did not notice anything as far as power so must not have been much.

Ah my bad, I was thinking of the 285/75/17s, which aren't even a full 34". Yours are the "true" 33's.

Yep....I really like the ride and quietness of these tires.
Have Nitto Trail grapplers on two of my Jeeps one has 58k on them and still looking good.
They ride well but are a bit noisier than the Ridge Grapplers, but everything is noisy in a Jeep:).

Hows the grip on the street when wet? I was going between those 2 tires, but since I'm like 90% street I went with the hybrid AT/MT instead of full MT. I previously had on 255/80/16 KM2s and those were noisy and rode like shit. The Ridge grapplers feel like all-seasons in comparison lol.

Installed 295/70/17’s last week and truck shakes around 40-55. Need to take them back and have them rebalanced. Anyone else have issues with balancing?

Mine are solid. I haven't heard any complaints about balancing yet.
