It was mine, I took it off, figured why argue with people online about it.

If people come talk to me I am a lot more open with it and I don't have a problem with hunting, it's how we evolved and its a skill that should be passed on. The problem is EVERY hunter that I have run into isn't doing that. They just walk right past, even with phone numbers on the signs. Last year they even tore down a bunch of my signs. I'm just sick of it and I don't have any tolerance for hunters anymore.

With state land that is my big thing. Where I live there are literally thousands of acres for people to hunt and fish, but they INSIST on trespassing.

I agree with you and I didn't take it as arguing. It is a respect and common courtesy thing.

Also, to continue my rant. There are a group of guys here who run coyote dogs. Well ALL my dogs are coyote sized and they hunt all around our house. I told them to fuck off last year and they told me dad gave them permission to hunt on our land. COMPLETE LIE.

Last week while mowing my lawn a guy tried to come fish on my brook, which in itself is 100% okay. The problem is he walked right by me, didnt ask, didn't acknowledge me and then told me since he lived in town for 40 years he has the RIGHT to go wherever he wants in town. What kind of shit is that?

Yeah, I didn't think you were fighting me on it, I get worked up online sometimes though and this is something that gets me worked up, so I figured if I removed myself from it I could save myself...but you called me back in and now I'm worked up

Coffee, lots of coffee; 5 hours isn’t too bad.

We were woken up by big lil man knocking on his bedroom door at 5AM. Wasn’t too bad for his first non crib night. Was up at 1AM walking around and went back to bed by himself.

Overnight tonight means no more sleep til 8AM tomorrow.

It's a beautiful day and the hardest thing I have to do is change my mower blades before I go mow. Can't get much better than that IMO so I'll go get started on that!

Drive 3-400 miles West to Lake Ontario and Erie . Lots of Steelhead and Salmon. Couple places on the Ontario tribs that have Atlantics.
Drive East and you have a pick of saltwater species.

Greetings from Mass Eye and Ear.

The small human is getting tubes today. Five ear infections with three doubles since January. The wild thing is that for the most part we didn't even know she had ear infections since she wasn't too bothered by it.

I'm sure the 2-3 years will be rough, but for the most part right now she goes down between 7 and 8. The wife may get up once or twice is she spits the pacifer out, but otherwise we are super lucky.

I was searching a bit last night and found my old STi for sale at Anchor Nissan. No price and no photos, with only 3,000 miles more since I sold it. Had I been closer, I'd probably check it out to see what the owners did to it.

Here, in order to hunt private land, you need a signed consent form. Anything like that in Mass.?
If the land is posted and people are on it without permission,it's considered trespassing.

Posted land isn't always off limits, but is a matter of touching base with a landowner and getting consent.
If trespassing is an issue, contact your state Game Wardens.

    Morning all!
I don't have kids, so I slept great last night :stirthepot:

On the other hand, it's another beautiful day outside, and I'm stuck in a warehouse with no windows :notsure:

After a response like that I'd have told him that he'd better exercise his right to leave.

My parents have around 100 acres of property and have always had a '1 strike' policy with people who want to use it. They keep it posted all the way around, with their # in permanent marker on each sign. If somebody calls, they're told to stop by and get permission in person so my dad can ask them a few questions, get their phone #, write their plate # down, etc. and after that they're all set to use the property. But if they don't...
A few years ago my dad found a truck parked on one of their woods roads (which involves driving past the two 'posted' signs by the road and then opening a gate with another 'posted' sign in the middle of it about 30 yards in) during deer season with a plate # that didn't match the permission list. He added the plate # to the 'Black List' that he keeps, had the truck towed, and left a note pinned to the closest tree telling them where they could pick their truck up once they paid the towing charge and that if he found them on the property again he'd involve the wardens too.

My son had two sets, which both fell out super early, so that is why he had a second set put in.

Had 6 total ear infections in one ear, which included either a single or double. Ever since he had the first set put in when he was about 1 1/2, he's only had 2 ears infections and he's now 4. Actually, he's going in for his 4 year appointment today.

Ear tubes are great. Easier to treat the ear infections since you don't have to give them antibiotics anymore and just put drops in, and easier to spot if they have an ear infection since you'll see the gunk in the ear.

Good luck to the little one today! Should go nice and smoothly, and super fast process.

I can post a picture later, but all my signs say "NO TRESPASSING, HUNTING OR FISHING" and then are signed and what not. They are all big metal white signs with red lettering and I really over did it as far as frequency. It is considered trespassing, the problem is one property is on the NY border, so those guys will come over and just go in, or get dropped off by a buddy early morning so you don't see their cars and then get picked up later on. It is hard to catch those guys. There is one person I let hunt there, I know him, he works for my brother and he actually asked if he could! But it's a business and if someone gets shot I am in trouble. A guy let someone hunt on his property less than a mile from me, about 5 or 6 years ago. The guest hunter shot his neighbor while he was trimming hedges right in the chest. So with that liability, I really can't let people hunt there. Fishing is a totally different story, but we have a 5 inch deep, 10 foot wide "river" so there isn't really a point.

Where I live it's a little different and we are surrounded by state forest so some guys wonder on by accident, that isn't a big issue. Its the guys who lie about having permission and park in your driveway and go start wars with your neighbors (happened last year and the cops were involved).

At this point I give people a warning and let them know the deal, then if we see them again we send their plates and info to a state trooper friend and let them take it from there. Luckily, we haven't had to go to part 2 yet, and I haven't told on anyone since I was about 12, and I hope it can stay like that.
