    This youtube channel is pretty good and they did a comparison between the "old" zx7s and SRADS you might find entertaining. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but plan to. It's the budget battle playlists.

    I'll have to check that out :thumbsup: I'm waiting to settle with the guy's insurance company over my TJ and have been thinking about a DR650 when it's over.

    I'm just getting started in both kayaking and fishing. Having fun but can't say I know what I'm doing.

    DR650 is pretty bulletproof. not light or high power. but reliable as anything with plenty of cheap parts.

    Have you considered a 1200GS?

    I haven't. I'm a bit vertically challenged:rofl: and just assumed I wouldn't be able to touch the ground comfortably :D or be able to afford one.

    What rod holder is that? Looks like pretty much the same kayak I have and I need to get around to adding one or two. The molded in holders suck, lost a pole I had for 20 years because of them.
