So my buddies mother in law was up in Big Bear the same weekend driving his SUV. So he calls her to come pick us up after the accident so we can continue our trip. On her way to come get us from the tow yard she gets into an accident with another vehicle. So he gets his SUV towed to the same yard as my truck, we load everything we can into the SUV to be towed home using his triple a. We took a mountain driving service home.... I guess there is no Uber up there. So I guess something really didn’t want us camping that weekend.

Glad you and everyone in your group made it out mostly unscathed! Could’ve been a lot worse!

Ok enough of the pleasantries.... When are you starting the next build adventure??!

What about the tree. Was it hurt?

A front bumper is definitely in the plans on the next build. I'm currently undecided between a Pelfreybilt, Demello or CBI bumper.

Outstanding! Glad everyone is safe. That tree should be good firewood for your next trip that way.

After the accident when we all made it back home safe and had some beers around a bond fire, we did joke about going back up there to cut the tree down for firewood. lol I wouldnt do such a thing, it wasn't the trees fault!

Wait, are you one of my buddies? This was also discussed... I was going to return to the tree for a few pics with the new truck. Of course I will be going 2 mph around that turn this time.

Well this is awkward, you don't remember me? I'm uncle Neds kid. You should recreate the picture but without all the damage of course.
