Another hot and muggy day on tap, with a storm mixed in....

Morning Martin...anything fun planned for today?

 

Cut one barrel, top it off with potting mix, clean up the back yard, mow the front yard. So nothing "fun" but I do get to catch up. Last night we had a nice breeze before it got dark so I removed some of the grass that had gotten past the border on the front lawn. I really should wash my truck, but I will take it in and get the tires rotated. It's due and, since I bought the tires at Discount, it's free.

Another gloomy day of drizzle. I am actually enjoying this weather. Cool and wet. The last few years have been clear and hot almost every day.

Either. If there's room, see if either one comes with a grease fitting (room to get a grease gun tip in between the joints so they can be greased)

 

Gotta head in to the office. The backhoe sold at auction, the key has somehow disappeared and I guess the buyer wants to pick it up today.

Try and get the one with the zerk on the end cap. Sooooo much easier

No drizzle or thick cloud cover up in the High Desert just very windy !!!!

Currently at my AO 1027hrs , 63° clear skies SSW winds 17mph and high temp expected to reach 73° today

Going to clean up the Camaro and get it ready for today's car show in Victorville . Hopefully more cars than yesterday in Apple Valley !!!

Yesterday it was so windy in Apple Valley that the car count was way down , maybe 10 cars at most . The winds were very strong blowing dust and tumbleweeds

This strong Afternoon SSW winds we've been experiencing up here in the High Desert for the last few months is just crazy . We do have afternoon winds in the High Desert that pick up around 1300hrs and stop about 1800hrs . These winds are maybe 10-15mph at max and feel nice making the warmer days feel very comfortable

A lot of people who live up here are saying this was the windiest Winter and Spring so far in many years

 

My Rangers original set had a tire that wouldn’t balance and the shop made it the spare and put the spare in its place

 

Bad rotors can have an affect also.
