    Deals aren't good enough.
    No deep pockets here.

Although, these are good times to pick up Dewalt freebies. I've ended up with a free woodworker's 5 piece chisel set, a free 4 piece 1/4" shank carbide router bit set, numerous safety glasses, caps and gloves at various events.

This swingout spindle is beefy. I'm more worried about the driving characteristics of the truck with the weight so far back.

    Nice Timken bearing set:

Nice supporting structure surrounding the spindle

yeah, it def looks beefy, but with enough weight on washboard roads or something (i'm just thinking worst case) i'd prefer double if it were me haha

That was a bad design. The spindle was welded directly to the swingout.

The replacement had a sleeve that was welded to the swingout. Much better.

I’ve been busy at work reading here and there bout this swing out weight. I think you guys are overlooking the importance of the latch and focused on the spindle. My @Pelfreybilt swingout on the rear latches itself into a moon shaped cup. The latch holds it snug in there with contact so the weight is not solely on the spindle. Open all the weight is on the spindle but the vehicle is stationary at that point, closed the weight is spread from spindle to latch. I’ve run many washboard roads and believe it’s this design that allows me to carry what I do without fail.
