Those are cool but by the time you equipped it with the gear you could have a nice used boat for a few people to go with you.

 

I've got to go out and buy some new work boots today. That money could of gotten spent on something cool to play with.

I got two off craigslist for $150. I looked for about 3 months and then found some. I’ll research tonight and see if I might come across anything.

 

Anybody in North AL familiar with Iron Gap Road? Got a friend of mine wanting to hit it this weekend. I've never heard of it until now.

Does anybody know what an alignment/rotate/balance at Firestone costs? Just wanna do a one time deal on my 4Runner Saturday.

Edit: I may have just found it, dang is it really 80$????

 

A one time alignment for my truck was 70 bucks. However I'm not sure the cost for rotate and balance. The other day I actually paid 150 for lifetime alignment on my truck. I think that was the memorial day sale or something.

 

yeah I've got Lifetime on my truck, but the 4runner only sees pavement so idk if I even care to do the lifetime, a one time alignment is stupid expensive for a few minutes of work.

 

I completely agree. Hence the reason I got the lifetime alignment for my truck after buying coilovers. This is only the beginning of the infinite amounts of time I'll have the front end apart. Haha.

 

absolutely. I've gotten so many alignments on my Tacoma that it's down to like a couple dollars per visit haha!

just torn on what I should do with my 4Runner. may just get lifetime for it as well...

 

My thinking is that after two alignments, you've paid for it. Might as well IMO.

 

true. do you like firestone? which one do you use?

I've used NTB for the past 3 years or so on my truck, but there is a firestone like literally 0.5 miles from my house.

 

That sounds pretty good for a alignment, rotate and balance.

 

When I got a confused look from Firestone saying I had adjustable UCA's I decided that I should go to a independent that sells and installs SPC gear. Have had a perfect alignment every time since then.

 

I like them for their service, not so much the tires. Haha. I had them swap some tires over to my TRD rims and they took great care of them. Torqued my lug nuts and everything. As far as alignments go, they set everything straighter than others I've used in the past. Disclaimer: this is for the Firestone on HWY 72 near County Line. Not sure about others.

 

well I figure since this is just my standard ol' stock 4runner they could handle it.

NTB has been a champ at adjusting all of my stuff on my Tacoma keeping at high caster and whatnot.

I guess I've never actually heard of an independent that does alignments?

 

The barrage or telemarketing calls is killing me. All look like local numbers or AL number so I answer thinking it is a customer only to find it’s not. OMG!!!

 

@stronghammer check out t4r.org for the back glass shatter. Seems to be a more common issue than one would think.

Also, we spent the night in the hospital last night boys, baby girl decided she was fed up with our shit and wants to come early so hopefully by tonight I'll be holding my daughter. Shit just got real!
