Tears Fears and Beers I may end up racing blind and having to onsight everything. I'm kinda worried about it, but it is also my first "Enduro" format race so I just look forward to finishing.

Sundance I might do OK in.

I'm no expert but I'm 5'10" and have always been on a M frame. Plenty of advocates for sizing up and sizing down.. just whatever feels best to you.

This is really what matters. One of my friends rides a bright pink Yeti Beti because it fits him slightly better. No shame.

I am 5'10 and I rock a medium as well. Problem with our height is you are literally in the middle of the size range where either COULD work, but depends on style. If you are a monster truck bulldozer kind of guy for the downs, I hear sizing up will help with stability. Sizing down the bike is more playful, but could get more bucked off. I typically stay in the medium range though.

In my bike selling days the question was usually answered by your riding style. A bigger bike is usually a stronger climber and maybe slightly more stable feeling but being too stretched out on the reach can make the experience miserable on long rides. A smaller bike can fell more nimble and easier on tight switch backs.
Best thing to do is take different sizes bikes on extended rides. It is impossible to tell in the parking lot of the shop.
5' 9" and I am always happy with Medium.

Incredible bike. I loved the tuned and almost went with it but I got such an amazing deal on the 720 I couldn't pass it up.

I also agree, this thing climbs like a mountain goat. It is better than my Remedy 9 in every single aspect.

I came from a yeti SB75 that I loved on the climb and this is just a good. Had to get tuned because of the color and build kit. Wish it had XT brakes but so far the SRAM brakes are great. Time will tell. My wife's family bike shop is a Scott dealer and I worked for them in college so I didn't have to drop full price on this one.

Sweet Ride. I have the Spark 700 Plus Tuned and it rocks! Just the right amount of travel for my riding style.
