You have the same attitude the people I confront have.

'I know better leave me the fuck alone ill kill my dog if I want'

Its not about me wanting to break windows. I dont want to at all.

Again there is no time limit you are 'allowed' to leave a defenceless animal who depends on you locked in a car. You can not do it.

If you go nicely and say 'Please dont leave that defenceless dog locked in that hot car' you get laughed at and told its ok and they walk away. The only way to get peoples attention, is to ensure they listen. You have to SNAP IT OFF and be harsh. I act like an asshole because that is the only way they pay attention.

Do you think anyone has the intention of leaving their child or dog locked in a hot car for an hour? No. Every single time you hear about a child or dog dying in a car 'I was only going to be gone 5 minutes'. You expect to be gone 5 minutes, then you see Bob and Joann and need to chat with them, then forgot to get 1 item. Then the line is long. Child or Dog is dead.

A dog does not sweat, the only way it can release heat from its body is that small tongue. Imagine you can only sweat with the palm of you hands. Then go get in a sauna.

A car can reach 60C in a matter of minutes in the sun. It is a death sentence.

Your idea might be 'nice' but does not work.

I have tried both ways. Nice, and asshole. Asshole is the only way to make people take action.

They dont care if you tell they are killing the dog, but if you say something might happend to that precious car. omg something happens.

Its interesting, because I have spoken to local police officers who have stated this same law, in a different manner. Supporting exactly as I stated, a dog is dependant on you just as a child, if you would not leave a child in the car, you can not leave a dog in the car.

Again I dont go around smashing windows for fun bud, you gots it all wrong if that is what you are reading from what I am typing.

You clearly didnt read a single word of the my post after that.

Please direct me to the Ontario law that states you cannot, under any circumstances, leave your pet in a locked car. Ill wait here while you try and find that.

Keep on assuming every dog in a car is dying and is in immediate need of rescue. I would absolutely LOVE to see you get sued one day and criminally charged for vandalism after smashing a window in somebodies car to 'save' a dog that could be completely fine and content.

Youre not a figure of authority and have no legal right to be making that judgement. Leave that responsibility to the professionals at OSPCA and the 911 call center.

Your entire original and following posts were based around you being the 'savior' of dogs in cars, and that it is your responsibility and DUTY to smash said windows to rescue the dogs. You are none of those things. You could be a witness for the proper authoritative figure to take appropriate action or grant you permission to do as such.

If the officer you spoke with told you that its illegal to leave your dog or child in the car for any amount of time, ever, then they were misinformed or you did not understand them correctly. No where in Ontario law does it state anything as such.

Well, this thread turned...uhmm...interesting? The force of the posse in North Bay seems artificially strong.

Except sneezing etc isn't as voluntary and your eyes are still some what on the road .This idea that it's fine to look at a phone xonstantly to read a text and reply can result in an accident much more often then sneezing or yawning which aren't voluntary.

Statistics show distracted driving causes many accidents and it's illegal for a reason.

I've seen a decent amount of accidents downtown because someone was looking at their phone and crash into parked cars, other cars or pedestrians.

Couldnt get a picture of it today cuz I was driving, but I saw a sweeeeet orange 3rd gen access cab in town.

He had what looked like 33's on it as they seemed almost the same size as mine. Had the rear bumper removed from I think was trail damage. The passenger side was pretty banged up just above the rocker and the quarter panel. Looked like he had some fun with it. I dont know why I cant find any of these taco guys around here, just see em drive by.
