I started a large backyard project recently. It started when I stumbled onto a local Tucson auction site that was liquidating a landscaping company. I ended up winning 7 pallets of pavers (~600+ sq feet) for about $600.

My yard is a 35x35 area that was a grass area, which turned into a weed/dirt area. Got tired of rain turning it into a mud pit and having my dog destroy my house.

Having a 22x16' 5" thick concrete pad poured this weekend in front of a detached 2 car garage in the back. Then doing pavers installed around it on 2 sides. Looking forward to having a large flat space to work on the truck. (Garage has a 7' opening, and my flippac wont clear).

I am paying $2400 for the concrete and labor, and $500 for the paver install. That included excavation and removal of the dirt. Its a family friend so kinda a side job. Not sure if thats the going rate or not, he was my only bid.

Will post up pics once the pad is poured Saturday.

Pretty dumb that they did something outside of the forum (didn’t post it here bragging or anything like that) and they get banned. I get TW not wanting to look like they are involved, but doesn’t seem like there is any ground to ban them...

@JTB727 you have a nice blank space to work with! You should be able to do something nice and maybe even add some grass/turf for the dog.

Yeah lots of options! Never done a yard before so this will be cool. Id like to get it rolling in a few months thay way its ready for end of winter/spring next year.... Tons of options, and it seems you can spend a pretty penny real quick.

If you can do some yourself it will help out. I was lazy and had a company do all of it. Live and learn, I just like learning the hard way. You could easily do something like your original photo.

They are TW members, they did something wrong and the association between the two exists and we as a community and forum do not condone that activity and that’s our stance.

From the optics when you have people from the outside looking in and seeing inaction on our part it gives the appearance we condone the activity. Which we do not.

Now, before you go making accusations like that, perhaps ask why.

Several of us has been trying to reach out to them but unfortunately we haven’t had a response yet. We gave them extra time to respond but unfortunately we didn’t receive a response.

How does the association exist? Because they have a Toyota? Didn’t see anywhere on that post where they were advertising TW?

So you guys don’t promote reckless or illegal driving. But if I go run a red light and no one sees it, you will ban me because association? Cause that’s the only thing that would be fair in this case.

No one posted here bragging about it. How did they break conduct?
