I started overhauling the garage today to get it ready for the Taco. Focused on just one wall this weekend which involved:

1) removed old wall mounted outlet for later relocation and proper install,
2) cut out bad drywall around lower air vents and replaced with new drywall,
3) repaired Misc holes and spackled,
4) hand sanded wall,
5) repaired cement wall footing with a new layer to smooth it all out,
6) caulked corners,
7) painted wall with two coats of light battleship gray,
8) painted cement with darker gray to accent,
9) added anti-critter screens in repaired air vents,
10) properly installed the dryer exhaust with wall mount brackets and extended to exterior vent vs courtyard vent, but
11) cleaned up and now exhausted after two full days.

Two more walls to go, but they won’t be nearly as much work.

Whew!

 

I just pack however many boxes I need for the specific job I'm doing and pack them into and out of the job by hand , no dolly

That organizer you linked is a smaller footprint than the radio and the 150-400 series boxes

 

The Toughsystem and Tstack boxes are different footprints , I have both

 

How do you like their part organizers?

My 150 came with the yellow interior bins , works great for fasteners

 

Milwaukee's packout is just to expensive. I'm going to start moving some of my stuff to dewalt toughsystem just so I can have some drawers unless ridgid adds some to their system soon.

 

I just got my toughsystem setup, ordered a foam insert for my smaller case, going to use it for my drills. have yet to decide how I will sort my other containers so far. Will probably get a second tower.

 

Keep an eye out for black friday deals on the cases. I built my own rack and saved a ton of money buying them all on BF.

How much was the insert? Did you cut them yourself?

 

Good deal, I will do that. The insert was about $15 with shipping, I cut them myself. The insert itself was made to fit in this case.

Finally got the fence completed, or at least completed enough around the house to keep the dogs contained.

 

Driveway sealer going down !

 

This is one of my favorite things to do when it comes to work around the house. Gotta love the instant gratification. Almost therapeutic. (or maybe I'm just deranged)

 

Lol, I paid a guy that does it for a living . I am not hauling 20+ pails and spreading that stuff out ! I know what ya mean though ​

 

I was wondering what it cost to pave an area like yours but I guess it varies...

 

Seal or pave ? I’m around 2700 square feet and blacktop is around 6 years old and was sealed once so it sucked it up . Guy charged $420 to seal . To pave new would be around $5000 .To add an inch on the top was what I was thinking but I’m good for now and that would probably be a couple thousand $$$$ !

 

I just assumed you did it yourself cause it looked like it was spread with a squeegee. All of the pros in my area spray it on quickly and move on to the next one. Either way looks good!

 

I have noticed more and more asphalt sealing companies doing squeegee application.....

 

This guy did it by hand ,did a great job but it rained right after he left for about 12 hours . He even added a drying agent but some spots not drying yet . Sent him pictures and he said give it till Monday and if I don’t like it he will do it over

 

My driveway was really in need of sealing so when he looked at it he said I’m doing this by hand ! Lot of it soaked right in .
