That can be tough, I replace my footwear every 2 years at a min due foot issues. I know Converse strangely enough makes a nice comfortable boot/ shoes deal. Maybe see about a pair of those?

 

I like Keen hikers. Light and comfortable

 

I need to have a waterproof, steel toe boot and it has to be a 10-12" boot. I'd burn through a set of converse in no time.

These are what I've worn for the last 10 years. Yup, one pair for 10 years. Expensive but well worth it. Worked out to $33 a year.

Keens I wear are waterproof...just not that tall.

I bring the chics....with or without boots.

 

I have a tendency to have to go to the wrecks where we're standing in water or we're in a creek so I need a tall boot.

I also just bought a set of Keens boots the other day for 50% off at the local outdoor store.

I used to wear Matterhorns. Then I found these.

Idk wtf they were thinking with that toe design in general. Not the yellow, I'm fine with that just the lines of rubber across the new ones.

Yeah they are some big boots but so damn comfy. Everyone at work called them my moon boots when I got them. They shut the hell up after I let them try them on. Haha

Bought them sight unseen because they were so expensive no one would carry them in the store. Was a good chance I took cause they were non returnable on special order.

 

After my cheap as army issue boots. I can't wear boots anymore

I hated boots before the service, after being forced to wear them I got use to them and now can't go without them.

 

Never wore them before the service. Then I was forced as well and they fucked my feet up. I wanted a pair of the Hi-tech's. But word came down that they were banned

 

That's unfortunate. You probably needed custom insoles. That's what happened to me after my feet got destroyed. I get adjustments from the foot Dr. Every 4-5 years now and have a pair for dress shoes, athletics shoes, and work boots. Rather pricey too at a tune of approx $600-800 a pair. I'm also not suppose to wear sandals but i do from time to time lol
