    I have a Gashole
I have a sport with a sunroof. Since I live in AZ it is more like a moonroof. Half the time I forget I have it and never have it open. On the highway you really can't open it fully due to the road noise. As much as I thought having it would be awesome, it is seldom used and used mostly at night during the summer.
Some have reported leaks after having them a few months.
If I want an open top, I drive my Z3 with the top down during the winter.

In your place, I would add Katzkin leather and seat heaters if that would make you like the truck better. I had them in a previous 4runner and liked them better than OEM leather in other vehicles I've had. Decide what the sunroof and BSM are worth to you, it really comes down to personal preference

Trade it in for a new/different truck. Get what you want. If you are like me you won’t be able to sleep at night.

    Hey guys,

Well, I got a stellar deal for a fully loaded 2018 Taco TRD Sport 4x4 with everything for a little over $36k.
They gave me $32500 for my Taco OR so I took a loss there.
Didn't even realize it was the end of the month today so that played into it.

Thanks for all the help and advice.
If I had a lot of spare time, I'd consider doing the custom leathers. But duty calls.

Exactly how I felt about my last car that had a sunroof, don't miss it on the taco one bit.

Why in the world would you buy a truck that was not equipped like you want it? I don't get it.

I have 2 rules when it comes to buying a car.

Rule #1 . do your own research
Rule #2 . never trust a car salesman

Lucky for me I'm not a compulsive buyer. It took me about a month to decide what I want in the truck.

I've gone through 10 sales people at different dealers and 3 of them told me that premium didn't come with leather and other options. They just didn't have any idea because it was a new feature they added for 2018. You just gotta do your research.

A sunroof is not worth what you’re looking to do. Drive the truck and stop worrying about every single option you don’t have.... there will always be trucks to buy, get some enjoyment out of it and trade it in a couple of years

Salesmen will tell you anything just to sell what is on the lot right then and there. They want to make a quick sale

You are correct,be prepared and know everything there is to know before you go to a dealership

I’d keep my current truck. I’d have a hard time trading for an older vehicle with more mileage on it and 1000$ more just for a sunroof. You can get katskinz for 1500$ and call it good. Just my opinion but you asked for it.

Me too. Many years ago, I switched from a lease to a purchase the next day. Couldn’t sleep that night went in the next day and changed it.

Please elaborate on the "Katzkin", what is it, how much does it cost, how to install it, and is it like leather??
