Any other 3rd gen 6 speed manuals out there?

I have small hands so I usually put latex gloves on Grab a little and just smear it around.

I push the clutch in with my left hand and use the Q-Tip in my right hand, its a bit of a reach under there but worth it.

 

i hate when i come in halfway thru a convo...this sounds like TMI lol

 

I got the squeaks again about after a month of first applying it. I made sure I put a THICK coating of lube on all moving parts and haven’t had problems since. It’s been almost a year now.

 

Woo 6-speed manuals rock. I really love mine... except for the reverse gear lol. Feels like I could go 60mph in reverse.

 

White lithium grease is your friend.

 

I love it only complaint I have is that reverse is way to high of a gear ratio. Its a pain in the ass in the mountains on a steep hill.

 

It’s like driving a new sports car. All of the power at your control Do as you wish! I love the ability to dive as it should be. It’s stick or nothing.

 

....i have still yet to see another MT 3rd Gen out on the wild and i look into every one i see in parking lots..unicorn status achieved

 

I was parked next to one at Wal-Mart the same color as mine, I like to look too, lol.

 

I was wondering why the MT cabs always reek of grease . Now I know. Anyways......nice to hear nothings perfect anywhere in Toyotaland.......‘cept my wife’s 2015 Camry. That car is actually perfect, but I hate to admit it.

Take it to the dealer there's a TSB on it... if the dealer is a dick report back we will find the TSB for ya.

1 month old stick shift. Trucks, Jeeps and Muscle cars should have never been made with automatics.
