I gotta say, I’m only bringing what I need for the trip. I don’t have much room in my truck for extra stuff when I go camping. I’ll be skipping out of the pot luck.

I do however think it would be cool to do a pot luck dinner meet another time

Why can't you fit a bunch of food on your passenger seat? :D:cool:

I'll take some photos later, but the green things are always full, and the rest fits into a bag about 4 inches thick, buy 3 ft tall, and 4 long. It's the big version, we have friends that have the mini version, I actually call it a gnome kitchen. I would get that one if I was buying today.

Own a regular cab, then tell me what you can and can’t fit. I promise I have my truck packed to the absolute gills when I leave for camping. Hard to tell in the pic but the bed is completely full too

For any interested I know of an awesome (free) camping site in Granville to stay at the night before the meet. It’s also right on 100, and everyone will be passing the entrance on the way to the falls. I basically lived at this spot for a week straight, and made it my base of operations. Anyway, it’s roughly an hour drive on some pretty roads to the rendezvous. Worth the drive if ya aren’t stayin in a hotel.

Pickup a softopper! when you dont need it you just remove it by yourself in 5 minutes of your time. Paid like 165$ total thanks to @pmstoy10 being a bro and bringing it from NY to the lower corner of MA on a ski trip. Keep an eye on the craigslist thread, pop up quite often.

Also, @mach1man001 can you update the second post in this thread with the updated plans for the second nights camping at the waterfall and all that jazz? Easier for my head to process the trip, i have been mathing it all out on a word doc and measuring the distances between each place just to have with me on the trip.

Got a 90 mile, (or 70 mile if I get tired) bike ride tomorrow in South Deerfield, MA.

It’s called Pedal2Pints and it’ll hit 8-10 craft breweries along the way.

    Breweries:
    Hitchcock
    Carr’s
    Bldg8
    Abandoned bldg
    Amherst
    Element
    Northampton
    Four Star Farms
    Artisan Beverage
    The People’s Pint
    Bear and Bramble
    Headwater at CT River

One of the rare occasions out of the year that I actually partake in adult beverages.

My buddies and I will head out later today and bunk in a hotel room tonight and tomorrow night. We will be in zero shape to drive home immediately after this ride.

Any words of wisdom from the locals on doing this ride?

Installing one of these kits would be my only advice. :notsure:
