I hope your porch is nice and cool. I'm calling bull hockey on the heat here already. Too old for this crap.

Happy Friday morning all :hattip:. I had a good relaxing 4 day weekend upstate. Saw some of the new kids on the block (1 doe had twins and another had one) and they were only about one to two weeks old. Didn't get pictures cause by the time I would get the phone out to take one, momma snorted when she spotted us and they were out of there:(. Creeks were running high and fast from all the rain, saw a lot of people kayaking even where the creek is usually real shallow. And MORE rain is on the way both up there and down here:eek::facepalm:.

Morning Tom, I need to do some trimming of shrubs but this rain is putting me behind schedule. Hope to get some nice weather soon. You have a good day and stay dry.

Good morning all, cool this morning, shows 34 on my deck, covered stuff in the garden last night. Except the tomatoes, forgot to go back out, a little breeze late yesterday which would have blown the plastic off. Got my last burn pile taken care of yesterday, so don't have to look at it all summer. Had to get a burn permit this late in the season which now is good for two years. Thinned my apples, on with camping.

I'm on Tricare - it runs as a supplement to the college-provided plan. It's one more way the government sticks it to retirees. If you have access to other insurance, Tricare has to be supplemental. When I turn 65 I'll go to Tricare For Life and then add a supplement.
