Need advice on ToyTec lift

Hi I've been lurking here awhile looking for advice on building my 04 Tacoma, and recently bit the bullet and ordered a toytec 3'' bilstein lift kit( from big country customs in Canada) now it arrived yesterday and i opened it up to check contents, the kit came with 2 bilstein 24-248730 front shocks that are listed on the bilstein site as for a 4-runner not a Tacoma! Will these fit my Tacoma?, The kit also has 2 F4 BE5-D560-TO rear shocks that are listed as rear passenger side for the Tacoma , will these work on the driver side also?

depends on year of 4runner. If its s 3rd gen 4r it will work. Rear shocks should work too. If I recall 1st gen Tacoma have longer shocks on one side stock, to compensate for taller spring

 

The driver said has a taller shock but that doesn’t really matter once your suspension has been worn out some. But i think most after market companies just give you the same shock for both sides in the rear, i could be wrong though

Im actually non sure of the drive side is taller or just stiffer with shocks valved diffrent. Ik after market leaf packs are still side specific but I thought one was just stiffer

 

just 1in taller to compensate for driver and fuel tank

 

I just got this response from BCC :"Hey Robert , no those are the correct parts , 1st gen tacoma and 3rd gen runner can use the same struts , ucas , cam bolts etc over the years bilstien has added more numbers to there inventory so if 1 is on b/o we generally have 2 others to choose from for stocking that will fit the same application , rear shocks we stock as the same number they are the same for valving and dimensions for both sides .
you will see that as you pull off your factory rear ones . all aftermarket companies follow the same suit , toytec , procomp , bds , fabtech etc with having the same part number for rear shocks .. hopefully that clears things up for you .."
Does this response seem to be legit? I checked specs on the front shocks on the bilstein site 24-248730(4runner) collapsed length 13.66'' ext length 18.27'' vs
