I might be picking up a transfer case with 4.7 gears. Should be a nice upgrade

How much did it set you back? I'm going to pay $300 for a gear driven T-case with 4.7 installed. It's not the best deal but I can sell my stock one and recoup cost.

you know the 4.7 kit runs like $600 on its own....lol before needing the 23 spline upgrade (180 or so) and then if you twin stick it, that kit is $220 from Trail Gear lol

    I have a few mods
so lets see here, my ideal setup for dual Tcase with twin 4.7s would be something like this

    - x2 4.7 low range from MC: $1300
    - x2 23 spline input gear upgrade: $420
    - MC08 Dual Tcase Adapter: $550

and if you want to upgrade the output shafts too
    - x2 Longfield OP Shaft Chromo Upgrade: $530
(Marlin Crawler 30 Spline chromo output upgrades would be $700)

and then if you want to rebuild and replace all the bearings and gaskets
    - x2 Rebuild kits for Hilux Gear driven TCase: $630

    and lastly
    - Twin stick kit: $220
    - Single shifter kit for the front case: $150

So in total, going with all Marlin Crawler Parts, a fully rebuilt dual tcase setup, with the MC08 adapter, 23 spline input upgrades, 30 spline chromo output upgrades, 4.7s low ranges, AND lastly, the shifter kits: $3,970 almost $4k on the dot lol

You’d be in Atlas 4-speed territory with all that added up

This is why I jumped on the case I got. It's not the super duper but it definitely fit the budget and gets me most of the way there. And as Todd mentioned, you're close to atlas territory for that bit of coin.

Looks like my bargain got sweeter. It also had the upgrade input shaft from MC.
