Need a new stock pick.. thinking CLNE as they have had a hell of a run.. but not sure if it'll lose steam soon.

Yeah, I set a stop loss at 3... and it sold. So I kinda screwed myself by buying back in and being greedy. Learning slowly. Not sure what company I'll go to now... so many choices lol

Penny stocks are just that... penny stocks. I’ve made a lot off of pennies, and probably lost just as much, but you really need to know when the momentum is coming to help carry the stock up - otherwise it’s your turn to hold the bag.

What really helped me early on was finding different Discord groups to see which stocks had momentum/catalysts. Once I learned what they were doing I was able to do it on my own.

My favorite group on Discord is called Brevidea - run by OverNightKing. It current costs I believe $25 a month - but it’s a pretty closed door room which allows for some excellent conversation and trades. The other I enjoy following is United Traders. UT is free, and is wonderfully laid out with a very active and experienced core group.

I bought CLNE this morning at 3.17.. up to 3.37... maybe I'll get back to my all time high when SMRT was at 3.90

I'm starting to realize that SMRT will take forever to go up on fundamentals.. the short term trend was a simple pump and dump. I'm riding the rails on CLNE right now but this time I'll know when to get out. That being said this company just got a big investment from an overseas natural gas company so who knows :notsure: I'll have to try to play the swings again

Does anybody own/up to date/have good knowledge on Berkshire Hathaway stock? I am going to be putting a lot of money into it either now, or within the next few months or so. It will be the same amount of initial investment either now or then, I am wondering about the timing (not trying to time it for any purpose though). I have read on Morningstar that it's undervalued by about $30/share right now, which makes me think this is as good of a time to get in as any. I will be holding it and adding to it, so not trying to make anything quick. Just wondering anyone's thoughts who may know about this particular stock, is it really that undervalued right now? Better to get into that now, and then fund some index funds later? Or fund the index funds now and wait on Berkshire? Thanks!

BRKB, it is exactly 1/1,500 the price of A. It is around $190 right now, and I read it's "worth" about $220, Morningstar is giving it a "buy," CFRA is saying "hold." Dude I can't afford 1 share of the Class A, and if I could, I doubt I'd buy it

I think long-term, it is without a doubt safe. I would have no problem buying in at any price (just about). It just seems like right now might be a great time to buy in. You won't get rich overnight from it, but I would expect steady returns every year.

bad feeling about CLNE... sold it. Down on a good jobs report... high volume and down.. not good signs. Too much speculation. I'm not sure what to park my money in. Should've left it in Square. :(

Glad I left CLNE, down 6% now. Dodged a bullet. I am thinking of setting a limit order for SQ for 55.... might take a while to get filled but oh well

Ive been too busy moving to pay attention, and it bit me in the ass haha. I've lost 150 in the last week. I blame @ThunderOne for telling us to all buy SMRT

I've lost more than that... still up a little overall.. but not as much as I could've had if I had sold properly. Live an learn... now back to figuring what to buy next. I really dodged a bullet with CLNE, down 12% now

Zen looks primed here. Solid consolidation and a decent flag on my monthly. I’d change that limit order to half 55 and half 50.

Same deal with SQ. That thing is unbeatable right now. 55 would be an awesome entry.

Yeah. I know I'm being overly optimistic (pessimistic?) that each will fall back a little on their runs up. I may adjust if no downward trend occurs

Well looking at SQ’s history - ATHs are quickly followed with some heavy drops for one reason or another.

I would enter at 55 with a stop loss at 54. Breaks 54 then wait for a better entry closer to 48
