If your going to offroad consider tire gate and high clearance....I know its money but if insurance will cover ya. Milk that bitch for all ya can lol.

High clearance isn’t for everyone and same with the tire gate but it’s easier to do it once then later down the toad.

    Hi Guys!,

So I'm sitting here in Africa missing my truck every day!!! have to keep that credit card locked up or I may have a garage full of parts I really shouldn't be spending the money on waiting for me to get home. Anyways...

I plan on being at my family's cottage in Bobcaygeon the first couple weeks of August. Was wondering if anyone was available to run a few trails. I've done some in my Jeep but I don't think my stock Taco will hold up to Greens mountain like my Jeep did. This would be my first time wheeling the truck so I'd love to do it with fellow tacos. I have full mobtown skids and their bolt on sliders so if worst comes to worse, someone should be able to drag me out haha.

Id love to meet up but only issue is swisha loop trip is first week of August, we will see if i feel like doing anymore when i get home.

I’m still good for Ardbeg but it looks like our numbers are pretty low. I see 3 trucks and a maybe. Should we reschedule the Ardbeg Run for another time when we can get more partipants?

It’s a long drive am I just as happy to wheel more locally. Thinking of doing the Lingman Lake Hydro Line trail just south of Bon Echo (3 rating)

Also if anyone is interested in clean Scepter military 20 liter fuel and water Jerry’s, I have a bunch at $30 a piece. Less if your buying more than one.

You don't want to go there, unless you need a new high clearance bumper :sawzall:

Well so far we have this group for Friday night:

    1. @Norilsk (me:wave: + 2 bodies)
    2. @Ttaco15
    3. @Theicemedic + the Kraken Lady
    4. BIG FIRE

    Saturday:

    @Taco-Can with Ryan

Plus TBH, the less the better for trails like that, I don't want to end up with 10 truck convoy and 12 hour of trails, hint, hint... :turtleride:
Anyone else is welcome to join, you can just camp and skip the wheeling or jump in any of the trucks that will be going to trails.

P.S. I get to test my P-rated tires and less people to see my embarrassment if they fail along with aluminum skids

The best wheeling trip I have been on yet, was with @Ttaco15. Just 2 rigs you can take as much time as you want on anything, play around. Go straight to the next thing.

I would even suggest splitting up into smaller groups of 2 and 3 and going different trails, North, South, BLL.

Or just leaving at staggered times to do the BLL, in groups of 2.

The locals here with the heep's told me - 'I take stock guys on black lake loop its easy' :alien:

So I am not sure what to think about this loop.

Maybe I just should not have spazzed out about the rope across the trail, and we should have done it

We’ll be fine with a half dozen trucks. The loop is way shorter than the south trail. We’ll be done by lunch or so.

FYI it’s rated the same as the south loop (3 to 3+) so don’t get too excited.

Might be so deepish water though.

I already did some mall crawling recently, so I am ready to get into pin stripes and meet with those trees that smashed my previous truck :sawzall:
    IMG_1470.jpg

Well it took me and @Jake4848 about 2 hours to do it counter clockwise, and then we did the same trail clockwise with a first time off-roader guy in about 3 hours.
It's not as bad as a south trail I must say. The only shitty part is the mud section where you have a high chance of sliding into trees.
I am planning on doing North Trail as well out of curiosity where it ends and maybe finding better camp spot for future.

The first picture is what Black loop is mostly consist of, just rocks, water was not deep at all.
    IMG_0212.jpg
This is the entrance if you do it counter clockwise, mud everywhere....

The trails we'd be doing whether it's ardbeg or Minden are fine open diff. Practically stock capable.

Plan is to head there on Friday afternoon and leave on Sunday afternoon, but like you said weather dependant.
I want to beat the shit out of the clutch, tires and skids before moving to other places, so it'll be more of a test run. :burnrubber:

We can meet at King City ONRoute if you want to, thats where me and @Theicemedic are meeting.

Lol, a man fearing wild nature here!
