I needed something bigger for towing and was sick of hunting for gears transmission. This place has been so great for information. I had a lot of fun fixing it up. I loved everything about the truck except the engine\trans combo. I bought a 2018 Cement Tundra limited with offroad. So far, I love it. MPG and parking are a bitch but I'll get use to it. Thank you everyone and I hope the Tundra forum is as good as this place.

    Congrats! Love the color choice.

Hows that back seat compared to a double cab?

I did the opposite and traded my Tundra for my Taco. I have nothing bad to say about the Tundra. It still is, without a doubt, the best truck I’ve owned. It was just too big for what I needed it for.
You made a good choice. Be sure to head to tundras.com. It’s the sister site to this forum but it’s waaaaay more chill.

I love it...accept for that antenna. Why hasn't Toyota hidden it yet? :annoyed:

Have they updated the interior yet or does it still look like something from 2004?

Too bad the Tundra doesn't even look remotely as good as the new Tacoma, otherwise I would have considered it myself.

Not many other options for you. Too bad about the motor/trans issues, enjoy that V8!

9ED9F389-D636-4ACE-9002-989ECD24305F.jpg Just so you know...the tranny is alittle weak in the Tundra if you plan a SC upgrade on my second one thus far. My 2011 puts out 590 horse to the rear wheels has no trouble lighting up the 35’s and will lay rubber as far as the eye can see...it’s a blast to drive! Can’t wait for the SC to come out for the Tacoma then I’ll have two SC Toyota truck’s. One big and one small...not bad at all!

Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
...^^^... FWIW ... I had several Tundras before and was a member of "TundraSolutions" website since 2007. IMO, they have a lot more Tundra info. over there.

However ... with that said .... this is still my favorite website ... :)

PS ... Nice looking Tundra you bought ...
