Here's the Truckee, if it's in Green it's runnable in canoe/kayak/raft.

What's the laws with boats on the rivers? Truckee river and Carson river? Are boats with motors allowed??

I don't believe there is anything in place for the Truckee that says no motorized boats but I'm curious what type of boat you'd be taking out....

I want to make a jet boat one day. Been hooked on watching guys in New Zealand bombing down rivers and super shallow water there. They only need about an inch and a half of water to run in. Pretty crazy.

I bought a flat bottom jon boat a couple of months ago. Been tinkering on it here and there. Still need to take it out.

Wasn't planning on using that one for the truckee but now you got me thinking. Ha. I did see a boat launch area right off the lockwood exit. Hummmm

I used to also do most projects myself (sometimes with the help of my late wife) before I almost cut my hand off. Now I still do what I can. It just takes longer
Yes solo rock hanging is a major pain in the ass especially 5/8" on the ceiling. I cut the 5/8" into 4'x4' to do the ceiling to make it easier to install.
We did some major remodels on multiple homes.
Moved walls, moved gas & water lines, moved & enhanced electrical, replaced all exterior doors, windows & garage door, removed all popcorn ceilings & hand textured ceilings & walls, gutted & remodeled/redesigned kitchens & bathrooms, removed & replaced all flooring, finished the garage (with insulation, 5/8" drywall, mud & tape, paint), patio covers, deck with workshop under it since it was on a 45* canyon slope, waterfall pond, landscape & irrigation, replaced wood fence & rotting 4x4s with new wood fence with steel poles (drilled out the rotted wood remains with a paddle bit & shop vac then set the poles in old footing with a little new concrete) & probably a lot more I'm not thinking of at the moment, but if it's a home improvement or fix it I've probably done it.

I like more of the low back bomber type seats. But I think they will get mighty hot in the sun.1102sr_05_o+speedway_motors_tribute_t_kit+.jpg
