Got a 90 mile, (or 70 mile if I get tired) bike ride tomorrow in South Deerfield, MA.

It’s called Pedal2Pints and it’ll hit 8-10 craft breweries along the way.

One of the rare occasions out of the year that I actually partake in adult beverages.

My buddies and I will head out later today and bunk in a hotel room tonight and tomorrow night. We will be in zero shape to drive home immediately after this ride.

Any words of wisdom from the DB’s on doing this ride?

 

You can get nailed for DUI on a bicycle....just sayin

 

Most I’ve done is 42 miles. I’m of zero help. Props for that distance tho!

Yeah, it’s a little early for these long distances. Usually I’m around 35-50 miles by late spring and I try to do over 75 miles by late summer.

But, I guess the peer pressure of my biking buddies, the thought of beers dancing in their heads and our utter loss of sanity got me to say yes to this.

Thankfully I don’t get peer pressure from TW.

 

I actually may very soon.

Nice. I chafed my Winch line pretty badly on a rock right before the hook last trip. I forgot to leave the anti abrasion sleeve all the way out when I wound the line back in apparently.

I most likely dragged it over a rock while it was pulled tightly to the shackle.

I bought this to repair the line since it’s right at the very end. I’ll learn to do a deep burry and have the tool for fast trail repair as well.

 

My oldest off to the 8th grade graduation dance. I can't believe how fast they get older. High school in September. Slated to be the hockey teams starting goalie. Very proud.

Thank you Lloyd, I hope he's as successful as your daughter. It'll be a long time before he's given the opportunity to drive the viper. I'm happy it didn't rain tonight because he's been asking for awhile for me to take him to the dance in it.

 

Not counting my chickens before they hatch. My daughters are on track to be good, successful citizens, but they have a ways to go yet.

Your son is well in his way! Congrats to his great parents.

 

My youngest just graduated from High School. Yeehaw!!
