I put a stubby antenna on my Tundra. Now I get precisely ONE station, but FM is dead anyway, and now I don't have to look at that stupid long antenna.

Nice Tundra! I came really close to getting a Tundra this time around but I ended up getting another Taco.

Well I mean, at least Tacoma made the shark fin which IMO looks just fine and adds a bit more shape. Maybe it would just look weird and dinky on a big Tundra.

You'll be hunting for gas stations more now.
I have a 5.7L DC as well as a Taco, both have a purpose. Tunny DC is like a living room inside, great torque.
I grab the Taco more than the Tunny actually for general drives, and baby that Tunny gas pedal when I do use it. However if you actually need the extra tow capacity, and a lot, you need a Tunny.
You won't get use to it, especially if gas keeps going higher. $90 a tank now.

I thought I would, too. It was still a pain in the neck 2 years later, so moved back to a Tacoma. But if I towed often, I would have kept the full size.

Yeah, but that forward slanted rear window just looks sooo goofy.

Haha...well I guess to each his own, good things it’s not yours to drive! Small trade off if you like Toyota’s but have a need to go bigger, but not TOO big I suppose :)

Honestly man you're probably talking 6" extra, but to look way better, it's worth it!

I did the same thing, I drive too much in town and don't really tow anything very heavy to justify the gas mileage of the Tundra. Mine was a 2012 crewcab 5.7 and it was also the best Truck I've ever owned. There's still some things I miss about it but so far I have adjusted to my Tacoma, I haven't had any of the problems you read about on here and I hope it stays that way. Congratulations on such a nice Truck. Its the only other one I would own.

I miss my tundar, but living near a big city means there is no way in hell I could park it anywhere so the taco works for me.

Those commenting on the Tundra antennae should see a Silverado. Right over the driver's side roof. Really an eyesore with light colored trucks.

I had 4 tundras. one first gen with 4.8 access cab then had 3 2nd gens last one being a 2015. Loved all them they are great. I used to fish bass tournaments and was going every weekend somewhere. I no longer do that and sold my bass boat and it is just wife and had Colorado for little over 2 years and love the mid-size truck and traded for my 18 Tacoma. the smaller truck works so much better for me now and love it. Congrats on nw truck if I ever went back to fishing like I did and pulling bass boat all over id get another tundra in a minute
