Whoa, great pics, thanks for fixing the link! Definitely dropped a pin on Usal Beach. I have that same Buddy heater as you! I have to admit, I've been nervous to use it under the shell, did it give you any problems? Was it in the location shown in your pics?

Have not had to use the buddy heater in the shell yet, been too warm. Used it plenty of times with the truck tent with no issues. I always run it with a carbon monoxide detector and never had issues.

This guy did a 16-hour test with it in the tent with no detectable CO levels. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OdbOLtsH3I I think as long as you have a CO detector you can sleep easy.

Was what in the same location? The rock-crawling pic? Took the pic pretty much directly behind my truck.

Ah, I meant was the buddy heater in the same location in your truck when you used it, and it sounds like the answer is no.

I have looked into the safety of using the heater in a tent and I agree with you and am not worried about the carbon monoxide.

My concerns were actually much more mundane than death lol. I am concerned about using the heater in the shell so close to the roof and either melting the carpeted headliner, or melting the adhesive holding the headliner onto the shell and ruining my shell. Or setting the whole thing on fire. That's why I was so excited to see if you had run it right there because that's about the height I would have mine too.

Actually it kinda was, except I had it on a small aluminum folding table, put the heater a few inches lower but roughly the same spot. But yea I didn't have the camper on then.

You guys seen this yet? New Traxxas TRX-4 "Sport". I think I want one, I've been wanting a "mini-me" of my truck, and this comes close enough.

    enough to go over stuff
I have two built wraiths. I have a ton of money in them. they are money pits. I always bring both because I drive them until they break then I rebuild. Ive made some upgrades since this photo. Its addicting and the wife hates it.

Cool trucks. Are those mini kings!? Sucks that your girl isn't into it. I'm lucky that my girlfriend helps me dig to make jumps for my little truck. We'll see if that sticks when she transitions to wife lol.

I’ve got a yeti that I don’t really mess with anymore. Dumped a lot of money into it.
Now it just sits under my bed. Had a lot of fun messin with it for a while but stopped when I started building my truck.
