My region rep for Toyota says the 0-20 is made by Exxon Mobil, i know the 5-30 was made by a Japanese company but i don't think they're making any of the oil for Toyota anymore.

I believe I remember reading a while back that ConocoPhillips produced it.

My FIL's vehicles have seen Walmart SuperTech 5w-30 and 10w-30 for many years. Zero issues. His '04 Sienna and '03 Dakota are well north of 100k. I never add a drop to either in between changes.

A couple of years ago I switched to the high mileage formula for it's seal/gasket conditioners.

About a year ago I pulled the valve covers off the Dakota to replace the gaskets. The valve train looked new.

I'm confident their synthetic formulas are fine too.

Doing a little research on Bobidtheoilguy site. People are pointing towards Warren as the maker of SuperTech

There should be no issues finding 0w-20 anywhere, I even noticed it at Rural King the other day for like $2 a Quart.

Again, has anyone ever heard of a failure caused by a brand of oil? Wrong viscosity, yeah. Not changing the oil? Yeah. Letting it run out of oil? Yep that will do it. But seriously, if you use the proper viscosity, change it regularly and check the level you will be fine with any of them.

This is a TW oil thread. There's no room here for logic. Off you go.

I know you posted in jest but straight 30 has a lot of applications in industry... just not in modern engines lol.
