    I don't think they will notice or care about a couple hand tools in your truck. Just carry them back with the jack and stuff. Wrap them in a towel.

    If you aren't doing an amp and just replacing speakers, you can put nearly any quality speaker in (Kicker, Rockford Fosgate, Infinity, Polk, whatever) but you really need to replace the stock tweeters they are garbage.

    i got a pair of kicker 43csc674 and kicker 43csc6934 from crutchfield for 136 shipped (came with wiring harness and mounting plastic) , and subaru tweeter for less than 80 shipped with an ebay coupon. total less than 220 , 250 all in with sound deadening material .

    I feel your pain, was able to find the Subaru tweeters for $115 on Amazon.ca but these damn US crutchfield speaker deals we'll never see the light of day up here.

    Luckily I live about 30 min from the border and gas is about $.50 cheaper a litre there at the moment so alil American online shopping has been worth it lately.

    Crutchfield.ca. Only difference is using the 2way 6.75” in front doors as well since you probably already upgraded tweeter already

    With the 6x9s the price is $255. Cheapest ive seen. Usually $320. Must be a sale or something. Im gonna do the 4 6.75” while i got it around 225. It almost matches us prices with exchange rate
