Anyone have 2nd gen OEM Tacoma front bums stops and are sick of them wasting space and don't mind giving away?

    Or

Can someone with stock bumps measure their total length when compressed... Or have a photo of a stock front bump stop compressed? o_O

    LOL
compressing them properly would require the springs to be removed from the CO..... Yeah I'm not banking on anyone having or being able to do that.

I need to figure out where to space my timbrens at, I'm 95% that's how I bent those grade 9 bolts on the LCAs...

Also, I already have secondary shocks, I don't need tertiary shocks. :)

Any suggestions on pressing this metal sleeve back up into the spindle?

We rented a c clamp style Ball joint tool, but it’s a bit too large and won’t fit. Nothing else in the area to rent. No claw type tools either.

No sockets or wrenches large enough to fit. They’re 28mm if I remember right

It’s a first gen, not my truck.

It goes in from the bottom.

We could try to tighten it up, just no tools big enough. Might have to run to HF.

Tightening it up isn’t smart ass, might be the only way. But had to use a press to get it in, couldn’t salvage the old circlip and he drove without it for one day. Got a new clip but it’s already moved down.

Got a buddy on the way with tools he says will work. Hopefully we get it fixed! Otherwise it’s getting towed to the shop so we can rip into it and put it back on the hydraulic press.

I bet it’d work if we could get the UCA disconnected, just no way to loosen that big ass nut haha

If I had a garage or a place to store tools I’d start upping my game. We already have too much of our place dedicated to tools, parts and just truck stuff. Gotta throw stuff away, not add more haha.
