Why, are 3rd gen owners afraid to step on the pedal if needed?

I have experience with KO2 stock size. Went one size bigger but I gave up and went back to stock size

Then we will see after everything has been mounted. Honestly, everyone I know with this setup have no problem. Not sure how you came up with that conclusion.

You'll be fine. Half the trucks on here are using that size. Not a chance would I replace tires with the stock size. They look funny, and you don't get the benefit of added ground clearance.

Agree they look like ass but between my house and work there’re 25 6% slopes I have to get over. I love semi trucks so I can pretend getting stuck behind them and not feeling embarrassed

I agree that most aftermarket wheels look wrong on the 3rd gen. All the flat black wheels look the same to me. Anything that sticks out past the wheelwell edges looks like total crap to me.
The SR dark satin wheels look the best with moderately upsized tires to me but thats just like my uhh..opinion bro.

The MT Sidebitter is a great choice but I just went with this TRD SEMA setup an get lots of compliments from Tacoma guys so I guess they work.

I ended up caving and going with the TRD SEMA wheels as well on a 275/70/17 stt maxx. I couldn’t seem to find any rims that didn’t look cheap or boyish.. and after waiting months for the SCS Ray 10 lottery, I’m kinda over looking at my stock setup. Everything installed on the 14th!

I always felt bad when I saw guys rolling on stockers. Trying not to make eye contact and shit...

Trucks on stock wheels have no souls.

No but really the pro and OR wheels are damn fine factory rims. I just am not a fan of machine face wheels plus they are on like every damn car nowadays.

I wanted to copper coat my OR wheels and then clear coat them but then they are still dick offset and like 6.5” wide and by then I was halfway to the cost of aftermarket rims with proper offset and width...
