What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I shoulda done whitelines too. I ended up just buying aftermarket lca's and swapped them out. It was a pain in the ass cutting those lca bolts

They are actually only 2” taller than the worn stock seats. I’m 5’8 and still have a fair amount of headroom.

They are... Should be a huge upgrade for long drives.

Cipher auto. Never heard of them before I saw these on Craigslist. The price was right and the are comfortable. Time will tell on how they hold up.

Hmm im depbating if i wanna, get longer break lines, get the rest i need for my front lift. Or buy @Speedytech7 old junk...

 

I only trust them for if i need a tool really quick and everything i need to change my oil... oh and maybe break pads

 

@Speedytech7 has good oem stuff, save money for the endless taco mod fever that never goes away

I bought the longer wheeler lines for the front. The stealership was impressed when the did the recall.

 

Put a rack on her. Time to paddle board again!

 

Yeah, all of my LCA cam bolts/adjusters were frozen solid too. Turned into a big deal finding all of the pieces locally too.

 

I went ahead and pulled trigger on a driveshaft from a 98 on eBay. It was only 230 plus free shipping from a seller with phenomenal feedback. Should be here in 10 days!

Probably still going to look into rebuilding this one I have since it has the outside clips and the center ball seems fine.

 

That was a fun day, and on the bright side we did a nice loop of Puget sound
