Tied my rock lights into my dome light circuit so they turn on when I unlock the truck or walk up to the door.

Put an undercover elite on last night .I had to swap the lock with one they sent free since I have some option or something that gives me the goofy looking key that won't sync up with the normal lock .

Easy enough install but it took a good while to get it sqaure . It looks about right this morning .

I may tinker with the exact positioning after a while.

$130 for install? I bought one on eBay for $200 and it is a plug and play install. Torx screw and a single connector, took all of 5 minutes to install it. Only shop supplies needed were the 2 beers I drank while programming it.

Like your shop supplies! Yeah, that's what they charged; the wife had the dealer put it in before I took delivery.

Don’t spend the money to have them install it tho. It’s crazy simple and you can do it yourself. I’m telling you. It’s like one or two screws, unplug it, slide it off, replace with new in reverse order. That’s it. Take that installation money and spend it on another mod. Yes. He sells anything and everything that is OEM

I have to do this! Most likely will be waiting until early spring next year but it’ll get done. I’ve heard nothing but great things.

what did you use to do this. Is that solely how they come on or did you use the harness to connect a switch as well. Very nice

I have a switch in the cab that I can turn them on with also. I used a time delay relay and diode to tie them into the dome circuit.
This is similar to what I did though not exact.

Do you have any pics of it? Sounds fairly easy to install
