So I’ve installed the icon stage 4 on my 2017 Tacoma and I’ve run into some problems.. I will provide pics.
1.) the sway bar bolt that connects on the spindle won’t tighten or loosen it just turns.

2.) the uca wont tighten with the spindle, bolt will only turn.

there should be a star or hex in the middle of the threaded part. it should be on both. that will allow you to hold it still while tightening the nut.

The uca bolt doesn’t have a star to hold just the sway bar one.

Vise grips will solve both problems. With the sway bar, it has to be narrow enough to fit in there and the first metal you see right after the boot is what you want to put it on.

Thank you. I’ll give the vise grips a try.

can you press the delta joint all the way in? some times just that much tension is required. good luck.

All you need for the UCA is a pry bar.. put the pry bar on the coil spring and pry down on the UCA it will put tension on the balljoint to keep it from turning.. Some time you'll need someone prying while the other is tightening.. as others have mentioned use visegrips on the endlink. just make sure not to clamp onto the boot or it will rip

If he loosens the uca bolt it should rotate down without having to pry it down.

Pressing the arm down or lifting the lower arm/spindle slightly would be the best option. Once the taper is seated in the spindle the surface area will create enough friction to keep the taper pin form rotating and should allow you to thread the nut in to the correct torque spec.

I know it’s kinda late to reply but I did try that and no luck. The flange that bolts on the taper pin of the uca would turn when I tired to tighten the nut it and when I would press down on the uca the nut would be so hard to turn. I had no luck with it. Not sure what happen. The other nut that came with it went in the uca way easier. Went in like cutting butter.

Thank you, I actually just have 1 question. What lift height comes out of the box for the stage 4? I have the 700 lbs springs on it.

They would be set at approximately 2" of lift over stock. It varies form truck to truck but the best way to tell is to compare your ride height before and after install.
