I just added an RCI skid as well. Does that little door over the oil filter give you enough room to get it off and on?

Painted my chrome caps. Honestly, this is one thing Toyota really cheaped out on IMO. I’m already buying the TRD 4x4. Shouldn’t have needed to pay for an extra package for these. Anywho.. truck is really dirty, but they match well otherwise.

I am wanting to remove the Tacoma on my doors. Truck is a little over a year old. What are the chances that I will see a faded spot underneath?

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Unfortunately, if any fading has started it won't be underneath, it will be the rest of the truck. Underneath will be like new. You may see a silhouette of the badge for awhile but should go away.

Oh boy......be careful.........your crooked dealership will say your rock light integration will now become the reason the windshield wipers wear prematurely or the tire valve stem covers get cross threaded.

On a serious note....it sounds encouraging at this point that you initial contacts with Toyota seem to be showing a better customer service approach than the crappy stealership you are stuck with at present. :fingerscrossed:

Finally had a morning off work and decent weather for a few hours until it downpoured. My first time loading everything up in the truck and I think this setup will work out just fine for me. Only thing I caught was sun burn, lol. Still had a good time on the water.IMG_0841.jpg

Much better looking than the butt ugly chrome. Still have to do something about mine. That and the El cheapo oil filter cover.
Only two things I didn't like on the whole darn truck.

I know right. Thing is I already have my Rock Lights installed through @DSIM Harness. It works great too. Yeah so far so good. I’ve received two calls from corporate in two days and another one will be on Tuesday. Pretty pleased with how fast they did some research as well. Called and left a message with them on Tuesday evening; as well as, I sent them an email with my 4 page day-by-day documentation of all the crap I have been told has been the problem. Even the last thing I heard which was, “we definitely know it’s a wire shortening out that’s causing my transmission to do what it’s doing. I say oh yeah? Which wire? The service director goes, I’m not sure.” I felt like saying you have to be f******* kidding me. I said to corporate, how do you blame a customer for something that you don’t even know what it is that’s causing the issue. They did their own little research on Wednesday and assigned a case manager to my situation. Thursday morning I received a call from them. Friday evening I received a call directly from the case manager. So far, I couldn’t have asked for a better response time.

IMO the white lettering goes well with the white paint and black wheels. Sure it’s gonna look awesome either way. Nice Taco!

Unless it's sitting outside the Arizona sun 365 days a year and never been waxed you'll be fine I'm sure.
