Pull your side marker bulb out, there are two wires going to it. One is ground and one is power. One is purple, I honestly forget which one is which though. I just tested it with a multimeter (if you don’t have one and plan on doing any electrical work in your car, it would be a good time to go pick one up. A small cheap one is fine for 99% of the work you’ll do on a car.)

Thanks, first electrical project ever done to a vehicle. At first, none of them worked and realized my grounding wire wasn't in right. Then, 2/3 turned on and found that one of my splices was bad. 3rd try, all works. Now to get some wire covering off Amazon since Advance auto only had 1" width and go back and eletrical tape more stuff to keep it water tight as much as possible. I have since cleaned up the wires so they can't be seen from the front.

I tapped into the purple and the white with a T tap since I couldn't get the 10mm ground bolt off without stripping the F out of it. So far working fine. See my pics above

This looks great and I’m new to electrical so a few beginner questions. With the “wire tap” do you have to cut the original wire that goes into the side markers or does it just clamp in this T holder?

Edit. Just YouTubed it. So all you do is clamp on to the side marker wire and then plug into it. Way easier than I was thinking.

You dont have to cut any wires. Here is a little youtube on how they work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikZZBmvFEho

just gave it another shot with the recommended lights. Ran into an issue, Only 1 out of 3 lights came on. Oddly enough it was the furthest light to the left, so current is flowing through the other two to get to the one on the left but only that ones comes on. Any ideas why?

Yes when I first got mine on I had only 2/3. One of my black power cords had came lose when I taped it. Check your splices. Got to be the wiring. What does it look like ? Post a pic if you can.

I'm installing mine this weekend and would like them to be on whenever the DRL or headlights are on. Did this work for that and which wire did you tap?

If you see the picture I posted, the purple wire is the side marker light bulb and that is only on when the headlights are on. Not sure or home to go check which wire is the DRL one.

The only issue with that is the drl’s have two power wires since they dim when your headlights turn on. So It’s pretty much impossible to wire them in with the drl’s. That’s why I used the side marker lights.

I wasn't sure about the raptor lights, Now I think they are awesome because they came in my cheap grill. This set up with the pro grill looks awesome too!grill lights.jpg I am wired to the fogs... Crossing my fingers on that. seems stable right now though.

Yea basically your drl’s are powered by one wire while they are on independently of your headlights. When you switch your headlights on they dim and the power is supplied by a different wire to make that happen. There’s no simple way I can think of to have them linked directly to the drl’s. I’m sure it’s possible, just slightly beyond my understanding.
