I feel like that would stop the light from coming through tho

 

From what ive seen white hoods have bad glare vs black hoods have non. My truck has no glarecand its black.

 

I sure the fuck would not want to be the guy in front of you while you running your light bar.

I'm not gonna sugar coat it.
They look stupid, are illegal and have little to no purpose.

I'm open to your argument to change my mind.

 

I mean your stupid if you drive with it on when your on the street, its for off road use only

 

I know. Do you drive side by side in the trails? Usually it's single file.

I agree they are pointless in most aspects of using your truck. But when you need the light its nice to have

 

Totally agree, they're pretty useless and extremely ugly.

 

Need a passenger tail light cover or full assembly. Would like a driver and 2 passenger tail light covers but mainly need 1 passenger. Anyone have any laying around?

 

I’m going to have to agree. I think they’re complete unnecessary and useless...

ON ROAD

I see too many people using them on a highway. Off-road is another thing.

 

Got my stainless steel brake lines today from
LCE PERFORMANCE.
So I know what I'm doing tomorrow

 

I’ve thought about it but don’t like the look of just a black hood. So Ive gotten over it

 

Did you buy these after that guy posted a pic of his cracked/leaking brake line or because someone mentioned the better braking performance from steel braided lines?

 

I put some Earls ones on my Tacoma last year, but I didn't notice any improvement in braking

 

Well actually neither, I’m thinking my truck is 21years old with 565,000 miles,
So I had better do them now rather than have an accident later
I’m heavy on my gas pedal so why take a chance and wait for them to crack,
I need to do a brake fluid change anyway so it’s good timing

 

Nice! It's on my radar as well, but hasn't quite made it onto the to-do list. Let us know how the upgrade goes and if you run into any problems.

 

I've thought about going old school (60's), and do a flat black panel on my hood, but leaving lower portions on each side, and a strip in the front and back my base color. But glare from by light bar isn't a problem, as I have it mounted well back on the rack on my topper/cap. Down side to this mounting method is you wind up with not much light right in front of the truck, unless you add a smaller light bar to fill this area in.

 

The thought has crossed my mind once or twice of adding the 80’s Toyota truck decals to my white truck:
