    I missed this,

I’m gonna rip my seats and center console put tomorrow and hopefully take a shampooerer/ vacume to the carpet and maybe seats. Try and mop up all the dust.

Over the last 9 months I’ve slowly collected a whole tree of pine needles and wood chips, it’s not fine.

I bought this cheapo $20 parts washer off this guy on Craigslist. I met him at a BART station, we went to his car and he also had a 1st Gen Tacoma. It was a nice '98 Limited with only 80k I believe. I gave him his $20 and was about to be on my way, when I asked him if he had any other tools for sale. Ends up he was moving away and selling all his tools.

And that's the story of how I got a 60 Gallon Industrial Campell-Hausfeld Air Compressor, Delta Drill Press, and Sandblasting Cabinet altogether for about $400.

That air compressor was MASSIVE - it went about 3 feet above the roofline of the cab. It took five people to load it.

The Kirkland socket set, right? Yeah I was really bummed about it. You get a lot of tools for $80.

The looks I got from people when I was driving on the interstate taking that thing home. Was a fun and terrifying experience altogether.

Everything you have mentioned checks out normal. Normal starts when cold and warm, even after letting it sit for a few minutes. I am only having this problem when the ambient temperature is excessively hot, around 100+. This is why I suspect a sensor and not vapor lock. I have driven the thing in 110+ degree heat, before the problem started, and have not had issues.

I can only purchase the IAT and TPS with an entire throttle body, which is $1000 at the dealership (I can't return it after purchase). I really don't have that money to spend, especially since I have not accurately diagnosed it. I have had a Toyota mechanic turn me down on the repair because even he doesn't know what the issue is.

I am stumped  but open to all ideas.

    Thanks for your response!

Can you even find these in junk yards? I can't. They are as bad as Jeep CJ's as far as making it to junk yards in my area. Pretty much non-existent.

Have you put what year and motor you have in the description? Lots of people can keep an eye out for you.

California does have the best self serve junkyards. In North Dakota nothing like that really exists. If it did it would be a pile of picked over Grand Ams and Grand Prix since those are like the BMW 3 series and M3 of the state that were sold in Camry/Accord numbers here.

I'm not joking when I say that somewhere in North Dakota a teenager has not a lambo picture on his wall, but a picture of a Grand Am that he pulls his pud over every night. Car culture here is fucking dead.
