I hate to be the one that asks 50 questions but here goes. What paint? Did you sand, and lastly, did you use self etching primer? Sorry but thats my plan and any suggestions would be appreciated.

R&E Paint supply - they made my aerosol. Used plastic prep cleaner on it, then bulldog adhesion promoter, followed by a light coat of primer, then paint and 2k max clear coat. I didn’t sand anything down. They turned out ok, but I was fighting off lint that was flying around lol. That and small apartment garage.

 

Thanks for the info. Gonna give this a try soon. Those caps arent very "heavy duty".

Upgraded my lighting situation. Installed the @SDHQ OFFROAD Behind Grille Dual Bar Mount paired with a @Baja Designs 30” S8 Amber combo light bar. Really dig the backlight 7% function, and really stoked to get this bar dialed in and adjusted for max performance.

 

Dbaged, took off side decals and also added trd wheel emblems

Ordered a Hondo garage phone holder and radio knobs.
Installed a Wilson 4g cell phone booster.

 

Installed OEM roof rack...
Also debadged.. Removed all the silver badges

 

You replace or paint them?

 

New set up Icon Aluminum billet delta joint UCA’s with camburg valved Kings.

 

This simple mod makes me all giddy inside. Thanks to the group buy!!! Hardest part of the install was the damn rivit tool!!!

 

Installed new Clazzios front and back.

 

Just picked the truck up last Saturday used, went this morning and had the front windows tinted to match the back, looks much better I think and cooler too.

 

I replaced them but I bought from 2 different company’s. Rock auto and another company. Can’t remember the name but they ended up being different colors so I plast dipped them to match. I would get rock auto if you want to replace them. The fit like oem

I now have Prinsu & Pelfreybilt boxes in the garage waiting for a few days without rain to install. So in the mean time I did the DisplayOffImage and StartupImage customizations.
