I talked to some fuel management people on this last fire I went to about Montana, they said that the prediction isn't showing a year like last year for you guys, but that it could happen. The 1&10 hour fuels may grow rapidly and dry late . Setting it up for a late season burn . Only time will tell.

 

need more angles to be sure. I'm secretly hoping I'll hate it.

 

So coworker and I went to some dealerships today to look at cars. Long story short we drove a BMW M240i, and a 17 stingray. I was really impressed with the M240i. Those things are impressive for the entry level M car. Stingray was fun too lol

 

One of my co-workers has an M240i it is a zippy car. Turbo spools quick

 

Yea was easy to jump to 120mph with no problem. The tech in that care is really impressive.

Daystar has something like this too now with an adjustable foam core.

 

trying to find some good reviews of it. I just like the size. You could fit them up front I think on a stock width lca.

Nope. Been happy with the daystars I've got on now, much better than the super bumps, and I'm tired of messing with it.

 

no doubt be more cool factor on a built truck.

Interesting. Why better than the super bumps? The daystars are so much harder. is it because they are shorter?

 

The super bump geometry just didn't work well.

The daystars are much softer than stock, but still work well in the stock location. I can feel when I hit them for sure, but it's not jarring. In fact on hard hits sometimes with the super bumps they would deflect and do almost nothing. Also didn't like riding on them at ride height. Overall very big improvement IMO.

Im going to a smaller tire on Igor next time. Wish I had this last go around. 255/75. Lots of options for C load tires.

 

Nice, that looks like a great size. I think you're making a totally reasonable trade-off to get back to C's.

 

Yeah I just get back in my little truck and its like...damn. Such a difference.

Will be worth it i think. Plus a bit of power back.

Lil truck is down for the count right now. Out put shaft is loose as hell from the nut backing off. Hopefully nothing serious damage wise has happened. Then....i'll cave and have the stealership add AC to it. Was almost 90º today..roasted me alive almost on the way home.

 

I ran that size for one set. Not bad for a 32".
