You’re in Houston. How hot was it? Screw coffee and talking to people in the heat.

 

True story. Coming from Tucson Arizona its f×÷=/ing hot here. It's amazing what a 20% difference in humidity feels like.

 

It was 95* earlier when I looked. It’s not too hot in the morning. That’s when cars and coffee happens.

 

It was over 100° up in no man's land.

 

It’s effing hot in Texas. I’ve lived here most of my life because it’s a great place to have a job. The weather just sucks. TX has great airports so you can leave.

 

I dont want to leave though. I have lived in California and while the weather was amazing the general population and congestion sucks!

 

As some who still lives here in LA I concur.

 

My wife and I have bought the retirement home in CO. Spend the end of life in God’s country.

 

I got a while before retirement + as you can see from my profile two little ones that will probably need to go to college. But by that time it will either be prohibitively expensive or free.

 

I’m 52. Death awaits me. Going big.

 

40 in Sept

 

so, I was doing some maintenance before a weekend wheeling trip next week and remembered my oil cooler hose was being nicked by the fan. I just took a good size zip tie and used the thermostat housing to help hold it back like 1/4" from the fan. Nothing tightened down or anything, just to keep it from making contact. I actually felt a little smooth part taken out by it. It'd be a bad day if that hose got a hole in it.

Just figured I'd post it here so others could check if they haven't already.

(I made sure it would not interfere with the S/C belt)

 

35 was a big year for me. Figured I was 1/2 done.

Blew out me knee in March for the second time in March at 52 skiing. I’ve already committed to a snowcat trip next Feb. I’m going big one way or another. Might as well live it up.

 

I thought that was cross dressing. Or maybe that's a California thing. Lmao!!
