No dent but tweeked the door hinges a little. I had to pry up on the door so it would go back into alignment.

I supported the door with my left hand as I push in with all the force I could summon from Asgard on the screw driver and the nut pushed out on the door, made a pronounced dent lol
I tapped it back in, barely noticeable now but considering getting a new one since they’re only $30 + paint

I ordered mine a while back & was starting to wonder where it was so I tracked the package & USPS claims it was left in my mailbox on Friday @ 1:56pm. Nope. Two letters & a coupon magazine in our box on Friday. Three letters on Saturday. Wonderful.

USPS needs a tracking system for its tracking system. Mine shipped on Monday and was scheduled to arrive yesterday, but all it says is, "In transit to next facility." I'm not sure if it's made it to the east coast yet. I "pre-unscrewed" the screw and I'm ready to go as soon as it arrives. Gonna think of places to drive to get my tank on E quicker so I can fill 'er up and test it out.

I snapped the head off of the bolt on mine lol. I was in the process of replacing my gas door itself and figures I got all new parts (painted gas door, spring, gas cap) minus the bolt

That's odd.... I have never had anyone say the stock cap doesn't fit until yours. I wonder if there is tolerance issues on brand new ones. But then all my 3rd gen's fit perfect and its the same size hole..

Yeah I’m not sure why it won’t hold it.

I’ll try another cap first thing tomorrow morning, have a few more in stock.
It’s really odd because it’s what my vin calls for:confused:

    Edit:
Definitely the gas cap. You can see it’s not as large in diameter (upper left side)

Nah it’s the gas cap itself, the gasshole is correct in size so I’m trying another cap tomorrow

I can’t believe something so simple makes such an impact on filling up. This one is a winner for sure.

Suggest cutting out for the two nubs. I thought to do this to mine because I don't like how it is BARELY sitting in it, I would like it to be a little more secure. I can only imagine it falling out after a few months/year's use
